I.a.
All BSPRA members must attend the pit meeting.
BSPRA reserves the right to penalize any driver not in attendance at the
drivers meeting by placing him/her at the rear of the field for their heat and
main event races if they see fit. All pit personnel must attend the pit meeting
as well.
I.b.
All cars must line up in the designated staging area prior to their
respective time trials, heats and mains. Any
car not staged and ready to go when the race is called will lose their line-up
spot and must take back of the pack.

When the national anthem is played, all drivers, pitmen and officials
will follow track guidelines.

Anyone not complying with rule 1 will be barred from the pits for the
remainder of the event. Third
violation will result in suspension.

NO BSPRA member who has been drinking alcoholic beverages will be allowed
in the pits during the races.
-
If any driver on the day of the race, gives evidence of exhaustion from
drink or otherwise, he shall be excluded from competition by officers, pit
stewards or flagman.

ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING of any alcoholic beverage in the pits or pit
stands before or during a race by anyone until the last checkered flag has
dropped and the racing is over. ANYONE
CAUGHT BREAKING THE RULE: FIRST
OFFENSE WILL BE A TWO WEEK DRIVING SUSPENSION FOR CAR AND DRIVER; SECOND OFFENSE
WILL BE SUSPENSION FOR CAR AND DRIVER FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE RACE SEASON.

Belligerence on the track is not allowed.

BSPRA will not tolerate profanity, discourteous gestures or
behavior deemed detrimental to the betterment of the sport in front of fans or
race officials. The minimum fine is
$25 per incident. Future incidents
will have penalties issued based on the severity of the incident including, but
not limited to, fines, suspension and probation. Any car owner, pitman, or any
person on the course who at any time or in any place shall use improper language
toward any director of official or commits intentional rough driving on the
track above and beyond that that is expected in this sport shall be subject to
immediate removal from the pits. Any
race official may call for this type of pit exit.

Any member or person on the course who at any time or in any
place, shall strike or cause bodily harm to any member(s) shall be subject to
immediate suspension.

Any driver who stops his/her car to argue a decision may be
suspended for up to one year from the date of the infraction, depending on the
severity of the incident.

Any member or person on the course, who at any time or place
during a race day or club activity causes a scene or disturbance, may be subject
to immediate suspension from BSPRA or be fined or otherwise disciplined.
Fans and/or crewmembers associated with a stock car will be held to the
same standard outlined in this section on belligerence.

Fines and suspensions
will be levied by the officials.

Offensive and/or rude pictures, writing or stickers will not
be allowed on any car racing for BSPRA. If
something of this nature is noted on your car, you will not be allowed to race
until it is removed. BSPRA promotes
friendly; competition, with a family atmosphere, so this type of thing falls
under the BSPRA rulebook.

Drivers must be a member of BSPRA and approved by the Board
of Directors. Underage drivers must be accompanied by a parent or legal
guardian while in the pits.

If under 18 they must have parental or guardian consent
in order to drive in any race.
-
A responsibility release will be signed by parent or
guardian upon entering the pit area for all underage members. Said parent or guardian
must be present in the pits.
-
Speed limit in pit is 5 mph.
Drivers subject to fines if this rule is not adhered to.
-
Officials and pit personnel in the pit area will be in
white pants or coveralls. Whites are required. No
shorts allowed.
-
All cars must be inspected by tech committee and any and
all defects will be entered into a logbook.
All cars must be teched prior to first time on track.
All defects will be corrected before car competes in next race.
Whether or not car is safe to race shall be left up to the discretion of
the tech committee.

All cars must be towed or hauled to and from the track.
All cars being towed must use a tow bar.
-
Cars must pull into pits for repairs during race, but must
make up laps missed after the official start.
-
Cars may pull into pits for repairs when race is stopped but
must be in a position for line-up and restart or take the rear of the pack.
-
The third unassisted spin of a car in any race will receive a
black flag. No points will be awarded to driver for said race.
Any driver who ignores a black flag will be subject to fines or
suspension.
-
There will be no restart unless the flagman thinks it is
necessary.
-
In case of collision or rollover, no one is permitted on the
track until all racing cars have stopped.
-
Judges will make up races as they see fit, not to contradict
the rulebook. After race is set up,
the flagman has complete charge of it.
-
If a red flag is thrown by the flagman during the last lap of
a race for any reason, two laps will be added to the clock.
Racers that are able to continue will be realigned and a given a green
flag to restart, a white flag upon completion of restarted lap, and the
checkered upon completion of the final lap.

After the completion of one lap, any car involved in an
incident that brings out the red flag must realign per head judges alignment
order at the rear of the pack. The
car judged most responsible for the red flag will be the furthest back if able
to continue with the race. If
driver refuses to take their position at rear of the pack, driver will be
instructed to leave the racetrack.

Cars having loose hoods, deck lids, bumpers, dragging items,
etc. that are detrimental to other cars, may be flagged off track by the
blue/red flag. After fixing the car
it may continue racing.
-
Cars are not allowed to gain a position by abusing the inner
white line on track corners. Cars
who pass under the inner white line of the track corners will receive a
stop-n-go black flag. If a car
ignores their stop-n-go their scoring will cease.

A driver must receive the black flag during the race to be
disqualified with the exception of the last lap in said race.
Anyone being disqualified during last lap is to be notified within five
(5) minutes after said race.

All disputes will be taken to representatives of BSPRA and the
car owner or drive of the said dispute has the right to know from the officials
the reason. Any owner, driver or
pitman going directly to officials with dispute are subject to fine or
suspension. All protests must be in
writing and signed.

Anyone who finds that they cannot continue the race should
get to the outside of the track. Before
pulling off the track, always check behind and to the side so as not to cut
someone off and cause a serious accident.

Participants in a race, time trial, or practice shall have at
a minimum a head board, seat belts and shoulder harnesses fastened and have
helmet on and fastened at all times.

All cars upon entering the pits must be ready to race and
start under their own power without aid of external battery booster or push.
-
All cars involved in serious accidents will be inspected by
tech committee prior to any further competition.
In case of rollover, car and driver must be taken to pits to be
thoroughly checked before permitted to run again.

All officials must be a member of this association.

Once your car has lined up in the pits, you are governed by
the rules of the competition. Cars
dropping out of place on the pace lap will not be considered cause for restart.
After the first restart, cars will be lined up in a single file start.

Good working brakes on all wheels required.
-
Check all drain plugs, gas caps, drain hoses, etc., before
every race to minimize caution periods and to enable all of the drivers more
track time for their events. If a
car is leaking any fluids it is at the discretion of the flagman to give a
mechanical black flag requiring said car to pull off the track. Pull through to the pit boss to get info on what the problem
is. Once it is corrected pull back
up on the ramp and wait Pit Boss's signal to return to the race.

All infractions of general rules will be subject to fine or
suspension.

The driver that times a car in must drive it in the trophy
dash and in the Main or take the back of the pack.

Mandatory tear down at championships. Top three point cars with fourth and fifth standing by.

Pit entry fees are required of all drivers, pitman and anyone
else in the pits. No pit fees will
be refunded.

All drivers and their cars that intend on racing on a given
race night must be in the pit gate by the end of time trials.

Eligibility for the Championship event requires
participation of a driver and car in at least 2 events prior that year.
