Guy called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Brad gave the financial report: $1274.93 in checking account; $1970 accounts receivable; $367 tires; $1211.70 equipment for a total assests of $4823.63
Minutes were read and approved.

Tracy stated that we have 15 tickets left that sponsors didn't use. There is a question on whether MVAR will honor these at our next race because they have added on the Modifieds, so the gate price may be increased. Lynn with ask Jerry if we would be able to use these.

Radio Ads: We had purchased ads for $300 for August race, if we want to do the same. Tracy has $150 sponsored toward this at this time. Chuck M. motioned that the club will pay the other $150 for the ads. Chuck R. seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

Casey Brandt called Tracy this week wondering about being able to drive Danny Krahn's car. It was discussed that he would have to go through the application process to become a member. It was noted that Dan is not in the points race, and that the pay would be the same whether finish first or last. Lynn motioned that we ask Casey to come to the next meeting to fill out application and talk with the group Tim seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

It was discussed whether we wanted to again purchase hats to give out to the fans again. Wade motioned that the club buys 2 sets of hats and that the drivers will again pitch in $5 each for the prize. Tim seconded. Motion passed unanimously

Itinerary: MVAR has an itinerary done before Saturdays races. Lynn suggested that we get them a schedule for our races and to include a time period for driver introductions/fan appreciation.

Pace Car: Chuck Morigeau's dad would like to drive the pace car, he has a T-bird. Tim had comments that they would like a slower pace when they are out doing clean-up.

Pits: Modifieds are running their championships on Saturday and Sunday. They usually pit on the concrete pads. We will have to get there early in order to be able to pit together, and may not be on the pads. The pits last time were ok after being cleaned up MVAR has offered for anyone who wants to run on Sunday, on any tires, 4 barrel etc.

Seatbelts: Lynn talked to Jerry about this as there was discussion on it at the MVAR meeting. There were some that were older, but none that were frayed or showed any damaging wear.

Banquet: Date and location for the banquet were discussed. Lisa motioned that we hold the banquet on October 8th and to check with the North Crow Clubhouse. Tim seconded. Motion passed unanimously. If the North Crow Clubhouse is not available, we will then check with Leon Hall. We will again have Silent Auction and Cards. Discussion was held on getting either trophies or plaques; consensus was to get plaques.
