Minutes for meeting of
Aug 24,2006
Meeting was called to
order at 7:10 by Guy Stinger. Present were Guy, Lisa,
Courtney,
Tracy, Shirley, Wade,
Tracy, Butch, Pat, Dan, Janice and Duane.
Minutes were read, and
financial report was given.
The itinerary that we
presented to MVAR was accepted.
Pat said she is almost
positive that she will race the 6 car on the 26th.
If she decides to sit it
out, Brad said he will race it.
Wade bought 2 tires, and
Tracy B indicated that he is going to buy 4 and Jarred
is also going to by 4. That should leave us with 9
tires.
Tracy
mentioned that a possible office site is available in
Ronan for a very reasonable rate. This created enough
interest that he will look into it a little further.
Pat asked about having
the banquet a little earlier. She and Ron go to Arizona
early in October. A tentative date of September 23 was
set. We will discuss this more at the next meeting.
Guy asked about having
trophies for the top three places. Tracy tried to
contact board members of MVAR, but was unsuccessful. It
was decided to bring the top three to the
flagstand, and use the
first place trophy for each picture. Later we will get
2nd and 3rd place trophies to
match.
Discussion was held to
build a Ride-along car. More discussion will be held at
following meetings.
A ‘Ladies
Only’ race was discussed. More on this in the future
