Guy called the meeting to order
at 7:10.
Minutes from the last meeting
were read and approved.
Brad gave the financial report.
Currently $2915 in checking account.
There is a bill from Blackdog
Productions for $137.69 from expenses for the Ephrata
race (film, inserts, copying, supplies). Brad moves to
pay the bill. Lisa seconds the motion. Passed
unanimously.
Tracy states that we need to
submit a bill to the Chamber of Commerce for $100 for
the friendship trail.
Tracy received an email from
RaeAnne, she got a new job, and regretfully resigns
from the secretary position. She will drop off the lap
top to Tracy.
Dairy Queen would like to have
cars displayed there on Friday July 23 for their 10th
Anniversary. They will also be having a live remote
with the radio station.
Tracy talked with the NSRA
regarding crossing the border, if they have had any
problems when traveling to Canada. They stated that it
helps to have the track call the border crossing to
let them know that we are coming, with car count,
names and dates, and will be able to get across
easier. Tracy will talk with the track when they go up
there for the friendship trail.
Discussion was held on racing in
Kalispell on July 24th. It is their 150 lap double
points race. Chuck and Josh raced there and the cars
seem to be very comperable. If all 8 BSPRA cars can
make it, will be a points race. Kalispell cars will be
lined up in front, with BSPRA cars behind them, for
the main as to not effect their points. Points will be
scored separately. Tracy will contact all of the
drivers to see if everyone can make it. Will talk with
Kalispell to see if they would want to go with our
tires. Will need to know by next week to get the tires
here.
Discussion was held on raffle
ticket price. The price in Ephrata was to high and not
many tickets were sold.
It was agreed to sell them for
$1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.
Next meeting will be Tuesday
July 13, at 7 p.m. at Plum Creek.
Lisa motioned for adjournment at
7:55. |
