Meeting called to order at 7:15.
Minutes from the last meeting
were read and approved.
Discussion was held on Kalispell
proposal of one race to see about compatibility with
all cars and a 3 race trial period. There would be
discussion of changes after each race and after 3rd
race would join the Kalispell club. Brad felt that as
an individual he would like to, but for the club he
doesn't feel that we should change the rules. Wade
said that we haven't even raced and there are already
complaints. Chuck M. wants to race but also doesn't
feel we should change our rules.
General consensus of all members
was that we would like to race more but that we are
not going to change our rules.
Brad motioned to turn down the
Kalispell offer but to let them know we are interested
in coming up as a group on a rain date or other open
date. Wade seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Letter to Montana Raceway Park
was written and approved to send, see attached letter.
Carrie will email it by Wednesday and then we will
also send them a copy in the mail
Membership application: Carla
Morigeau. Approved unanimously.
Discussion was held on the
raffle money from the Ephrata Race. Brad motioned to
put the raffle money into the general fund of BSPRA.
Lisa seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Discussion was held on
purchasing jackets from American Racer. Tracy has the
list of who want to order one; there are a total of
18. Wade motioned that the club pays for the jackets
out of the general fund and that when they are picked
up, the individuals would reimburse the club. Brad
seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Next meeting will be Wednesday
July 7th, 7 p.m. at Plum Creek. Tracy will contact
Rocky and Malcom as they expressed interest to him in
Kalispell and wanted to be notified for the next
general meeting.

Montana Raceway Park,
Thank you for your generous
offer. At this time Big Sky Pro-Racing Association (BSPRA)
must regretfully decline.
We feel that because of the
considerable time and effort we have put into our
rules and organization, any changes would compromise
our integrity.
We are very interested in
discussing several race dates on your 2005 schedule.
We would consider it an honor to be part of your 2005
program.
We currently have an 8 car field
that is willing to race one night, at no cost, in the
2004 season. If you have any rain dates or open dates
please feel free to contact us. If possible giving us
at least one week, preferably two weeks, notice as
this will allow BSPRA to do promoting for the event
that will benefit both parties.
We sincerely thank you for your
offer and look forward to working with you in the
future.
Sincerely,
BSPRA
