Kirk will have radios charged and
ready.
Discussion was held on supplies
needed. Pit boss will need a white board and pens.
Raffle will need double tickets. Stef will purchase
these items and have a bill at the next meeting.
Discussion was held on the need
for a MegaPhone. Concensus was that we don't need one.
Discussion was held concerning
whites for the officials.
Ephrata pays $100 per car up to
12 cars. $125 per car after 12 cars. Entry fee is $20
per car and driver and $15 per pitman. Ephrata will
let in 5 people for free which will include judge and
scorer, flagman, announcer and pit boss.
Stef will make an insert for the
programs with Driver information and space for
time-ins etc. and get copies made at Gull Printing.
BSPRA is the featured class at
Ephrata. Track opens at 3 for hot lapping. Need to
mail Ephrata a few posters of BSPRA.
Carrie will print lap and time
trial sheets.
Kalispell Hot lapping every
Wednesday. $5 per car, extra people get in free.
Aaron & Marie AuClaire and Michelle Siderius run the
track now, they bought it from John and Sharon.
Talked with Kalispell about any filler nights for this
summer. No worry about intermingle of other local
racers, would be treated as outside group. We'll talk
more with them next Wednesday during hot lapping and
look at the schedule at that time.
All BSPRA drivers have to apply
and be accepted by board before getting a membership.
This helps control the quality and integrity of the
group.
Need to talk with everyone
traveling to Ephrata to watch to sign up for hat give
away to figure out how many people come.
Stef will make corrections to
Rules wording by Monday and Post last minutes.
Ace in Polson wants a couple of
cars displayed there this Saturday for their Customer
Appreciation Days. They'll have Hot Dogs, etc. Brad
will be able to be there.
Tech day was held on 5-22-04 and
results were gone over:
Rule on engine placement was
discussed. Wade motioned to omit the center line
offset engine mount rule and let the left-side bias
percentage dictate engine placement. Pro-Stock Rules
section F) 5A). Lynn seconded the motion. Motion
passed unanimously.
Other concerns from teching was
weight, which will be added with fuel etc., and ride
height, which will be adjusted with tires and tire
pressure etc.
American Racer Tires should be
here Friday the 27th. $75 per tire. They are also
sending stickers, banners, and jacket. Jackets will be
$45 if anyone decides that they want to order one.
