Guy called the meeting to order at
7:15 p.m.
Wade gave the financial report: Expenses-2.85 bank
charges, 50.00 Polson Chamber dues. Checking account
balance:$938.28, Total equity: $4241.98. Current
sponsorship total: $2000.
Membership Paid: Richard Jones
Posters for Kart race: Tracy has a
quote for $0.59 for color copies. Duane moves to print
100. Wade seconded. Motion passes unanimously.
Bales: Duane found some bales that
would be $2 each. Tracy and Wade have some more people
to talk with, Hunsucker and Stonehawker. We need about
130 more.
Free Tickets: Ambulance-21,
PFI-25, MME-25, MREC-32
Presold: Tracy has presold $90 so
far. He will be going in to the radio station tomorrow
and will take this so they can start the give-aways.
Lisa purchased $40 worth of tickets.
Trivia: Napa will have items to
give out.
Vets: They will be there and
possibly can present flags but will get back to us on
this.
Tracy and Duane attended a meeting
for the Mission Range Events Complex. This is a group
effort to put in an events center on Round Butte Road
behind Woody’s. They have no board, it is an everyone
who participates helps out. This would be a possible
area to have some of the Kart and motorcycle races in
the future. Tracy and Duane gave out 32 tickets to the
race so that they can see the event. In the future they
would also like to have an indoor building. Their next
meeting is May 3rd.
Seals: Depending on the car, Duane
thinks that most will only need one seal as they
wouldn’t be able to change the others without damaging
the seal.
Rules: The rule concerning having
a doctor’s release was discussed and Tracy mentioned
that other organizations do not have this. Duane moves
to remove this rule. Lisa seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.
Rule on Windsor Heads: it was
discussed that they are starting to make different
heads that can’t tell the different between that would
be illegal per our rules. Duane moves to remove rule:
world product Windsor jr. permitted. Wade seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
Tracy will check on tire prices
and will need to order a week out.
It was discussed to have an ad in
the local papers the week of the Kart race. This topic
was tabled until next meeting.
