Guy called
the meeting to order at 7:15. Also
present were Tracy Burland, Lisa Stinger,
Chuck Swope and Duane Olsen.
Minutes of
last meeting and financial report were
read and approved.
Lisa
brought 10 posters she had completed. She
used regular 8½x14 paper and attached
them to different color construction
paper backgrounds. They looked very good,
so we decided to have her print up 100 of
them.
Duane
reported that hay bales are available for
$1.50 each. At this price, we don’t want
to get more than we need. In about 2
weeks we will have a work party to
distribute what we have, and figure out
what we need. Duane will organize the
work party.
Lisa thinks
she can do numerical order printing on
her computer at work. We will hold off on
printing the pre-sold tickets
commercially until she checks it out.
The gear
ratio in the C-4 Ford transmission 2nd
gear is 1.46-1. With 3.89 gears that
Tracy has, the final will be 5.68, which
is our optimal ratio.
Tracy
reported that we can get a full week’s
advertising on Andersen Broadcasting
radio stations for $350. Lisa moved to
purchase the ads. Duane seconded, motion
passed.
