Tracy called the meeting to order at 7:20. Guy and Lisa are unable to attend.
Minutes were approved through email, but was discussed that need to bring a copy to the meetings.
Wade gave the financial report: $423.28 in checking account, $1726.98 in total equity. No outstanding bills.

Tracy reports that the seals are in. The Fords will be the tightest. Duane asked about sealing his engine in order to build the jig and get the drill press set for tech day. Everyone agreed that his engine is legal, as it has passed tech before and they have not had the engine apart. Wade gave the titanium bits that he had to Guy.

Cart Race: Lynn has access to some bales from Dave. These are the ones that we used last year and he doesn’t want them back. Lynn will go down and count them this weekend. Tracy will talk with the ambulance. Tracy has talked with Jack about the fireworks and he said that he would get the permit, but to remind him. Napa has said that they would give some hats for the trivia give-aways.
Booths: Time-Out has motorcycles that he talked to Josh about bringing out to display at the cart race. If anyone is interested, booths would be $35.
Rent: PFI reduced the deposit to $1000 because of the clean-up last year was good. The rent will be $400 for all (grounds, bathroom, lights).
Passes: Carrie brought both free passes and pre-paid passes. Need a list for the free passes to determine how many to print.

Radio Ads: They stated that they will do the same deal as last year, with ads running Monday-Saturday of our races at MVS for $150.

Tracy has talked with Chuck Minor. He has one car done but said that he needed to talk with his son about joining BSPRA. If he decides to join, we would have to schedule an inspection date.

Will need to order tires about 2 weeks prior racing. Will need to get a count of how many are needed.

Radio Production: Walter states that he needs a list of sponsors and any updates on the drivers’ profiles. Lynn needs to get a hold of Walter so they can get the script set and set a date. Walter will need at least 3 days notice. Carrie will email an update form for the drivers to fill out.

Josh has talked with D&D Customs about getting all the cars on the Dyno. He stated that he would give a deal for all cars and would put his sponsorship on the cars. Josh will get a price quote. This would have to be in a couple of sessions as wouldn’t have time in one day. Chuck is concerned about how it would work with couplers. Everyone thinks that this is fine. It tells Horsepower at the wheels with weight ratio.

Duane found 17 picture frames for the sponsor thank-you’s. He submitted a bill for $17. Tracy will check on how many sponsors we had last year to see if we need more.

Carrie brought two different sizes for the season poster. Everyone agreed that the 8 ½ by 14 looks better. Will need to get a price for copies. Also need to design an individual poster for the cart race.
