The meeting was called to order at 7:10 by Guy Stinger. Also present
were
Lisa
and
Courtney
Stinger,
Tracy
Burland,
Duane,
Greg,
and
Tracy
Olsen.
The report on the Karaoke Contest was there were 18 entrants. All got to
sing 2
songs,
and
then it
was
pared
to the
top 10.
Those
10 sang
another
song
and the
top
three
were
then
picked.
Kyle
Stinger
was the
winner.
He
received
a trip
for two
to
Las
Vegas.
Second
place
got a
$100
bar tab
at the
Branding
Iron,
and
Third
place
got a
$50
tab.
With
the
amount
of time
it
took,
and the
size of
the
crowd,
that
was
about
all the
contestants
that
the
contest
could
handle.
Greg and Tracy then put up a trip to any one of six locations as an
added
bonus
to the
contestants,
and was
awarded
by
lottery.
Lesara
Burland
won
that
one.
The finances were as follows: Expenses-Trip, ads, music-$1000

proceeds-
142.50,
of
which
Greg
and
Tracy
contributed
$50.
Tracy
Olsen
then
presented
us with
a check
for an
additional
$200,
for a
total
of
$797.50.
For
about
$200,
we got
an
enormous
amount
of
publicity
and
good
will.
Tech day was decided to be April 5, at the Branding Iron. We will help
them
pour a
concrete
slab on
the
north
side of
the
building
to do
the
inspections
on.
The next meeting will be at the Branding Iron on March 5, at which time
we will
decide
on the
exact
size
and
location
of the
slab.
