Guy
called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Minutes were
read and approved.
Financial
Statement. Brad stated that we have had a sponsorship
of $300, and a bank charge of $4.20.
Tracy
has a confirmed date for Ephrata. June 5th, $100 per
car for 10 cars. 7 of our cars have said that they
will attend. If all goes well, they would invite us
back in August. The June date would be with just
BSPRA.
Tracy
said that he will write a letter to the sponsors about
whether they would still like to sponsor if we
aren’t able to race locally. He has talked with some
already and they are still wanting to sponsor BSPRA.
He is also asking if we want to look in to racing at
other tracks. (Tri-Cities, Spokane, Stateline etc.)
Les
Schwab (Ronan) stated that they will sell us 10 inch
rims for $35 apiece, ($10 off as a part of
a sponsorship).
Promoters
meeting is next weekend at the Tulalip Casino in
Marysville, Wa. Tracy
asked if BSPRA would be willing to pay for the room
while attending the meeting. He will pay for his own
membership. The room would be approximately $120. Lisa
made a motion to pay for Tracy’s hotel to attend the
meeting. Passed unanimously.
Discussion
was held on the letter to the Tribe.
Walter said that he will work on the letter and
present it to the board. If any of the members would
like to write letters explaining why they weren’t
involved at MVS those would also be included. Tracy
will present this letter to the tribe when it is done.
All members are encouraged to attend.
MVAR
is suppose to respond by letter regarding the meeting
that BSPRA attended and why they declined BSPRA racing
in 2004. Discussion was held on the fact that we need
to get something in the newspaper after that is
received.

from the tribe.
