Present: Tracy Burland, Brad Lee,

Meeting was called to order at
7:20. Lynn and Duane are available by phone.
Finance is the same at last
meeting.
Minutes from last meeting were
unavailable and need to be resent.
Old Business: Tracy will be
leaving next week for the promoters meeting. They will
stop in Penticton on the way there. Approved for $250
traveling expenses.
New Business: Kalispell schedule
is completed and we are not on it.
Race dates and locations were
discussed: Ask for August 6th and a May or
June race in Ephrata. Calgary sometime in late August.
Tracy will negotiate a date for Penticton. Everyone
agreed to make sure that there are at least 2 weeks
between race dates.
Brad would like to show MVS some
interest. Guy suggested a letter. Need to present a
proposal for a race night there. Will address this more
after the promoters meeting.
We may be eligible for a tourism
grant for the friendship trail through Ronan Travel. We
will ask for Walters help.
Guy and Lisa will print rule books
for promoting BSPRA at the promoters meeting (25-30).
Walter wants a table with scrapbook and other club
information.
Tracy said that Carl suggested a
bowling night for all racers and anyone else involved
just for fun. Motioned to follow through on bowling
night. Sportspage at first choice, if not available
then Ronan.
Swap Meet: It is $50 to rent
Polson Fairgrounds with $600 liability insurance. Tracy
found out that the fairgrounds have a ¼ mile dirt
track. There is a mini-sprint group out of Missoula
that may be interested in racing if we would be
interested in promoting a race. Possibly do both the
swap meet and the race in one event. Wade motioned to
check into promoting a mini sprint race. Motion passed
unanimously. Josh motioned for the swap meet and mini
sprint race in one weekend. Motion passed unanimously.
Will look into a date in March or April.
Brad wanted a clarification on 5
year rule change, but being able to change a rule with
70%.
Discussion was held about having a
new member probation period of 1 year racing with no
voting privileges.
Next meeting will be Thursday
December 2nd at 7 p.m. at Plum creek.
