called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Minutes were read and approved.
Financial
report stayed the same as last week.
Discussion
was held on the meeting with Mission Valley Speedway. MVS board stated they would discuss during Executive Session
and get back to us within the next two weeks.
Tracy
distributed copies of the racing rules from Ephrata
Speedway.
In
going through the list, it looks like we have nine
people certain that they will race plus two who will
likely come out.
We will offer MVS:
ten cars, plus the officials (pit boss,
flagman, our own judges and scoring, tech personnel
and equipment, tires, point system and point fund, how
we will set up our own trophy dashes, program, and
salesperson, give-aways, trophies and advertising).
Duane said he would make some ramps.
What we would like in return would be lap time,
event time $100/car.
Guy and Lisa will talk to Kyle.
Duane
went over his suggestions for teching.

for displacement;
Pull
valve cover for head ID
Bore
scope for flat top pistons, etc.
Pull
the carb and gauge it
Weigh
it
Measure
ride height (4” at the lowest point of the frames)
Measure
engine placement three ways (front, back, side-to-side
and height)
Check
transmission and clutch
Measure
the width and the wheel base
We
will also let them know that we are willing to
purchase associate memberships.
Tracy
will talk to Ephrata and send them a copy of our
rules.
Guy
will contact Ron Peterson, MVS chairman, regarding
setting up a board-to-board meeting next Thursday
(October 23, 7:00 p.m.) at Plum Creek.
If
MVS board is unable to meet with us, we’ll cancel
the meeting.

will put the proposal in draft form and email to the
board members. Tracy
