Present: Lisa Stinger, Tracy Burland, Guy Stinger, Brad Lee, Shirley Burland, Carrie Benson, Chuck Morigeau 

Guy called the meeting to order at 7:15. 

Minutes from the last meeting were unavailable and will be read at the next meeting. 

Brad gave the financial report. Balance remains at $1,094. We have $3,000, accounts receivable, in sponsorships. 

Tracy told about the Media Van. SKC is going to give us the use of the equipment that was out at MVS. Walter will tape and edit races. If we get sponsors, SKC-TV will air the races. Tracy also got a van that will be used to take BSPRA equipment to the races (tires, scales, etc). 

Sponsor update: Napa signed on for $250.  Ace: sponsoring raffle items. BSPRA to display cars at Ace memorial day weekend for their customer appreciation days. Super One & Harvest Food: $500

Many sponsors wanted to be sure that BSPRA is not associated with MVS/MVAR.

We should have a $4,000 race fund with all sponsorships.

The back of the rule book will have sponsors ads on it. Tracy will continue to talk with the sponsors. 

Tracy has a PA system that we can use at races and promotional events (to sell raffle tickets etc.) 

Tracy emailed Kalispell. He will try and contact them  next week for an answer. John Knerr is interested in racing with BSPRA. 

Discussion was held on possibly putting an ad or article in the newspaper with the schedule and sponsors. 

The next meeting will be Thursday, February 5th,  7:00 at Plum Creek.
